CTEP-ESYS (Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program – Enterprise System) is an integrated ICT system that is flexible, modular, and user-friendly. CTRM system consists of large data warehouses with over 20 applications developed with Open source technologies of Java/JEE and Oracle that support the cancer clinical trials infrastructure. The applications automate and streamline CTEP’s business processes and modernize the reporting needs of CTEP’s collaborators. It has become the primary data collection mechanism for NCI’s vast clinical trials program. In collecting safety and clinical results data, it effectively allows investigators and researchers to focus on scientific opportunity and patient safety, which allows for greater focus on reducing the burden of cancer on the public by finding better ways to treat, control, and cure cancer.
